Telescope: Stellarvue SVX102T-R Raptor 102mm Carbon Fiber Triplet & SFFR-74-102T Focal Reducer Flattener | Designation: SH2-284 This large object is often over looked because of SH2-275, also known by its common name Rosette Nebula. It has nice structure with a couple of darker areas. The open star cluster known as Dolidze 25 sits mostly in the middle of the nebula. One possible name someone could give this object is The Little Rosette Nebula. (D. Salman) |
